Fire drill held to ensure visitor safety
On December 3rd, we conducted a fire drill with a primary focus on ensuring the safety of event attendees.
The drill was based on a scenario where a magnitude 9 earthquake (seismic intensity 7) occurs during an event across Halls 1 to 6.
Following the earthquake, a fire breaks out at an exhibition booth in Hall 2, and a 15-meter-high tsunami is expected to arrive within 32 minutes.
To prioritize the safety of attendees, staff practiced evacuation procedures, guiding visitors to the designated safe area, the rooftop parking lot of Hall 6, using outdoor emergency staircases.
Teams were divided into seven groups, including command, communication, and firefighting teams, to ensure smooth coordination, effective communication, and proper evacuation guidance.
We remain dedicated to creating a safe environment for all visitors and will continue to conduct regular training to strengthen our emergency response capabilities.
